Deadbeats

Inspired by a drawing I created at the National Arts Festival in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), Taco was originally made in the early days for a commission. The client owned a minivan and was part of a band called Dead Beats, which shaped the piece’s playful energy. Over time, it has become a fan favourite — a celebration of music and community.
