Much of my art is inspired by my fascination with whales. This piece is also a play on words, shaped by my dyslexia. ‘Her Tale’ is deliberately spelled differently, an example of a homonym. Her holding her tale is also a symbolic story of the emotions tied to being trapped in suffering, while navigating her own ‘tale.'
