Poppy & Rose

Poppy was inspired by an old photograph I found years ago of two lovers. One sitting in a bathtub while the other read to her. This drawing is my psyche’s exaggeration of what love might look like. The man reads from a book marked by a poppy, and with her eyes closed, she drifts into the story he brings to life. Their connection blooming between imagination and reality.
