Not all who wander are lost

A child’s imagination is wild. In this drawing, as the character walks into the landscape, a whale appears high above the woods, imagined into existence by the mind.

It speaks to the power our thoughts have when we are young—the way the ordinary can become extraordinary through play and imagination. Somewhere along the way, we lose some of that freedom. This work is a reminder to return to it, to let our thoughts wander again and reconnect with the playful nature of the mind we once had so freely.
